In Monster’s Palace, new hero Clyde Feegle, a Navy SEAL, is introduced. This book contains, in addition to the action taking place in various missions of Clyde and his team, many other adventures and tense situations. The leaders of an international drug ring see the fruit of their depravity squashed. We also have fractured trust, a “difficult” situation, and finally the results of niceness. Clyde and two other military personnel (one Delta Force, one Marine) work with the CIA to block al-Qaida and other terrorists from expanding their use of international drug trafficking to further their goals.
In Escape From Mexico, now-retired Clyde Feegle is made a full partner in the detective/ protection agency of Bob Becker and Bill Hedden. Clyde and Josephine (Jo) Kelly (both introduced in Monster’s Palace) move into a new home, built on the Becker estate, that is the same design as Bob and Bill’s homes. During an electronic protection system installation at the home of Judge Wendell Suermann of St. Charles, an attempt is made on the Judge’s life.
Jim and Holly Scott lend a hand after the three partners are added to the hit list of the drug cartel when they thwart the attempt on the judge, and a call to Clyde from Mitch Melosi (also introduced in Monster’s Palace) asking for help, after his sister is arrested due to having weapons in the trunk of her rental car, as she tries to enter Nogales, Mexico.
Also in this book, a drug cartel leader going by the name of ‘Z’ plots to bring down Air Force One using a drone attack.
In Assassin I Am, Frederick (Fred) Dupree and Rosemary Williams meet under a strange set of circumstances, and both feel attraction for each other. Hours after they meet, they are drawn even closer together as Fred’s plane is ambushed on takeoff.
Rosemary, in time, joins Fred as he wages war on al-Qaida inside the United States. During the course of their mission, they uncover a major plot of the Islamist terrorist organization, which is bent on setting up the Caliphate of America.
Along the way Hector Garcia, Jim Scott, and other old friends lend a hand.
